About Kevin

Kevin Church has a varied practice with an emphasis on administrative issues and litigation, ranging from wildlife and fisheries matters to wrongful dismissal and general civil litigation, including family and some criminal matters. He grew up in Ontario and earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1985 before studying law at the University of British Columbia, graduating in 1992 and being called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1993. After articling, Kevin practiced in Kamloops as a partner at Oien Church, then moved to Morelli Chertkow LLP, practicing in both Kamloops and Williams Lake from 2012 until March 2023. He is active in BC's conservation community, having served on numerous committees and boards advocating for wildlife, fish, and their habitats, including as a board member of the Child Development Center in Williams Lake and former vice chair of the Habitat Conservation Trust Foundation.
