Butz & Company is a law firm based in Regina, Saskatchewan, founded in 2015 by Chris Butz and Danish Shah. The founders set out to put clients first and take a modern approach to legal problems, and Butz & Company now practices family law, criminal law, real estate, civil law, wills and estates, employment law, Aboriginal law, immigration, and notarial services out of its Regina office. The firm later opened a second office in Toronto, at Suite 1-478 Richmond Street West, where the team focuses on employment law and mediation rather than the full range of practice areas.

One long standing focus is Aboriginal law. The firm has represented claimants in Independent Assessment Process hearings for Residential School claims across Canada, and it doesn't take a fee out of a claimant's award: its charge is limited to Canada's own 15% contribution toward legal fees, with the client responsible only for tax on that portion. In Toronto, founding partner Danish Shah mediates employment and family law disputes as an alternative to litigation, having trained through the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School, a program also attended by Canadian judges.
