The Vaughan office works with clients on estate planning, home and business purchases and sales, and business incorporations and contracts.

Can the firm help me buy or sell a home in Vaughan?

FIS Law handles residential and commercial real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, mortgage financing and refinancing, and leases. Clients in Vaughan and the surrounding area can work with the firm on a closing from start to finish.

I need a will and power of attorney. Does FIS Law prepare those?

FIS Law prepares wills, including living wills, along with powers of attorney for both property and personal care. The firm also handles estate administration and applications for a certificate of appointment, so it can act for an estate after someone has died as well as plan ahead of time.

I'm starting a business in Vaughan. Can the firm incorporate it?

FIS Law incorporates businesses and drafts the agreements that go with running one, including shareholder and partnership agreements, corporate reorganizations, and the purchase or sale of a business. It also handles general commercial contract drafting and negotiation for existing businesses.

How big is the firm and who will I be working with?

FIS Law is a small practice built around lawyer Frances Santoro, a member of the Law Society of Ontario. A client working with the firm deals directly with Santoro rather than being routed through a large team.
