About HiLex (Hassani Lex Professional Corporation)

HiLex is the business name of Hassani Lex Professional Corporation, a small Ontario law practice built around a single principal, Hamid Reza Hassani, a Barrister and Solicitor with the Law Society of Ontario. The firm works out of the Highway 7 office corridor spanning Thornhill and Richmond Hill, and it focuses mainly on immigration and citizenship law, including refugee protection, judicial review, and mandamus applications before the Federal Court. Alongside that immigration practice, HiLex also takes on corporate and business matters, trademark and copyright filings, and uncontested family agreements such as marriage contracts and separation agreements.

Hassani's background includes more than a decade in immigration and legal consulting, including earlier work at Polaris Immigration Services. Hassani holds two Graduate Diploma (LL.M.) credentials from the Universite de Montreal, one in common law and one in business law in a global context, along with an immigration practitioner diploma from LaSalle College in Montreal. Hassani is also a former Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant and a certified English to Farsi translator through OTTIAQ, and the firm serves clients in English, French, and Farsi.
