Friedlan Law is a small tax and estate planning firm in Richmond Hill, Ontario, led by Phil and Adam Friedlan, who bring more than 36 years of professional experience to the practice. The firm works with owner-managed businesses, private companies, and high-net-worth individuals and families on personal and corporate tax planning and estate planning. It carries those plans through to implementation, handling incorporations, corporate reorganizations, shareholder agreements, estate freezes, wills, powers of attorney, and trusts. The firm regularly works alongside a client's own accountants, investment advisors, and corporate lawyers rather than handling a file on its own.

Phil Friedlan holds a JD from the University of Toronto, a BCL and a BSc from McGill University, and an MBA from York University, and once lectured there in income tax. Adam Friedlan earned a law degree from the University of Toronto, an undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago, and an LLM in U.S. taxation from NYU School of Law. Both write regularly for the Canadian Tax Foundation's Tax for the Owner-Manager and belong to the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Canadian Tax Foundation, and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. In 2019 the Canadian Tax Foundation gave Phil Friedlan its Lifetime Contribution Award, citing years of service on its Board of Governors and the Ontario Tax Conference program committee.
