About Laengert Law Professional Corporation

Laengert Law Professional Corporation is a small law firm in Newmarket, Ontario, focused on residential real estate, wills and estates, and notary public services. Jennifer Laengert started the practice from the ground up in 2014, not long after being called to the Bar in 2013. In June 2022 the firm took over the law practice of Dana Dyment upon Dyment's retirement, continuing to serve Dyment's clients alongside its own, and it began operating under its current name, Laengert Law Professional Corporation, the following month.

Before law, Laengert trained as a musician, earning a Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Ontario and completing Fanshawe College's Music Industry Arts program, then working briefly in the music industry. Contract work there sparked an interest that led to Osgoode Hall Law School, including a stint at an entertainment law firm on files for internationally known artists and clearances for a national television show. Real estate and estates courses set a different direction, and the practice that followed was built largely on referrals and repeat clients.

What started as a sole proprietorship has grown into a small team with support staff and an associate lawyer, Laura Galin-Corini, who joined in 2024 after articling at an estate litigation firm in Toronto, having earlier worked at Laengert Law as a summer student in 2022.
