KMT Law was a two person practice that combined family law and mediation with paralegal representation in Small Claims Court, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and employment matters. Karen Kunopaski, called to the Ontario bar in 2010, handled the family law and mediation side of the practice as an Accredited Family Mediator with the Ontario Association of Family Mediators, a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, certified in Collaborative Practice, and trained as a Voice of the Child practitioner. Kunopaski served on Legal Aid Ontario's Domestic Violence, Child, Youth and Family Services and Duty Counsel panels from 2011 to 2021, worked as Family Court Duty Counsel in York Region, and has been a Children's Lawyer since 2013.

Michael Tsinonis, a Licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario and a graduate with Honours of Algonquin College's paralegal program, ran the firm's Small Claims Court, landlord and tenant, and employment law files as owner of MT Legal Services. KMT Law closed effective January 1, 2025. Since then Kunopaski has continued practicing family mediation through Family Evolutions Ontario, and Tsinonis has continued the same paralegal work through MT Legal Services.
