Zwicker Dispute Resolutions is a solo Markham, Ontario practice run by Jack Zwicker, who was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1976 after a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science, both from McGill University. The earlier part of the career was spent practising residential and commercial real estate law and teaching real estate law for six years at Centennial College and Seneca College in Toronto. Training in negotiation and mediation followed in 2000 and 2001, and in 2003 an LL.M in alternative dispute resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University.

Today the practice concentrates on negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and med-arb for small and medium-sized businesses working through shareholder, real estate, contract, and workplace disputes, aiming to keep them out of court. Zwicker was appointed a Deputy Judge of the Ontario Small Claims Court in 2013, accredited as a qualified arbitrator by the ADR Institute of Canada (Ontario) in 2018, and designated a Chartered Arbitrator in 2019. Zwicker also sits as a Tribunal member on the professional discipline committee of the Ontario College of Opticians and writes on mediation and arbitration for Canadian Lawyer magazine and other trade publications.
