About Veridian Law

Veridian Law is a family law firm based in Markham, Ontario, run by Keeth Raveendran, a barrister, solicitor and notary public. The practice covers separation agreements, divorce, decision-making responsibility, child and spousal support, property division, cohabitation agreements and marriage contracts, alternative dispute resolution, and notarization and commissioning services. Raveendran practices family law exclusively rather than splitting time across unrelated areas of law.

Raveendran earned an LLB with honors from London South Bank University in the United Kingdom, then returned to Toronto to complete an LLM at York University's Osgoode Hall. Family law wasn't the starting point: early practice was in civil litigation and family law at a full-service firm in Grande Prairie, Alberta, before being called to the Ontario bar and moving into family law exclusively at two small firms in Toronto and Markham. During law school, Raveendran volunteered at legal aid clinics, helping low income families with family law and landlord-tenant disputes and representing clients at administrative tribunals on ODSP and EI matters.
