The Law Office of Bahar Karbakhsh is a Markham based immigration and mediation practice founded in 2012 by lawyer and mediator Bahar Karbakhsh-Ravari. The firm concentrates on immigration and refugee law, including spousal sponsorship, visitor visas, study and work permits, refugee claims, and permanent residency and citizenship applications, along with appeals to the Immigration Appeal Division and judicial reviews at the Federal Court of Canada. Alongside the immigration practice, the firm offers civil mediation services. Karbakhsh-Ravari holds a B.A. (Hons) from York University, an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa, and an LL.M. in alternative dispute resolution from Osgoode Professional Development, and is a Qualified Mediator (Q.Med.) through the ADR Institute of Ontario.

The firm's founder is a roster mediator for Toronto's Mandatory Mediation program for civil cases and spent several years, from 2013 to 2017, coaching mediation students at Osgoode Hall Law School's Small Claims Court Mediation Clinic. Earlier experience includes instructing paralegal courses at a Toronto college. All consultations and meetings are conducted virtually, which lets the firm work with clients across the Greater Toronto Area and internationally, in English and Farsi.
