Collaborative law
In the collaborative process each spouse has a lawyer of their own the whole way through. The spouses and their lawyers all sign a Participation Agreement under which nobody will go to court, so the issues can be talked out and settled with no court threat hanging over them. Depending on the case, the team can also bring in a family, financial or real estate professional.
Family court coaching
If you're representing yourself and want coaching for trial, you can hire a lawyer here to work with you behind the scenes. That help covers how to present your case, how to get witnesses ready and how to put the needed documents together.
