About Maple Cameron Law

Maple Cameron Law is a solo litigation practice in downtown Kitchener, founded in 2023 by Maple Cameron. The firm works with people who've been hurt, handling personal injury and medical malpractice claims across Ontario. It takes a file from the first meeting through to trial when a trial is needed.

The founder was called to the Ontario bar in 2006, after Western University, and practised at Fife and Associates from 2008 (that firm became Fife Cameron in 2014) before opening this one. That adds up to more than a decade of trial work, argued from both plaintiff and defence sides. The firm says that dual view helps it read where a case is heading. There's no cost up front: fees come out of a settlement or award on a contingency basis, capped at 30% plus HST under the Law Society of Ontario's standard form. A third-generation Wilfrid Laurier University graduate runs the practice, so the roots in Waterloo Region go back a while.

The neighbourhood

The office sits at 68 Queen Street North, on one of the older streets that run north out of downtown Kitchener. It's the edge of the Civic Centre neighbourhood, an area the City has set aside as a heritage conservation district and describes as linked to several key periods in the city's development, with many buildings tied to past community leaders.

A downtown address isn't the whole story here, though. Because a serious injury or impairment can make getting around hard, the firm says that if you can't come to the office, it'll come to you instead.
