History
Bennett spent many years as a partner at Giffen LLP, one of Kitchener's larger firms, then set up Graham Bennett Law Professional Corporation, a litigation practice in the downtown Heritage District. In October 2020 that practice became the base for Lerners LLP's expansion into Waterloo Region, when the firm joined forces with Bennett.

Motor vehicle and premises injuries
Graham Bennett has acted for hundreds of people hurt in motor vehicle collisions, pursuing statutory accident benefits from the client's own auto insurer as well as compensation from the driver at fault. The practice also takes on claims where an occupier didn't properly maintain premises, inside or outside.
Insurance and disability disputes
Bennett has acted on both sides, for insurers and for individuals, and over the years has helped hundreds of clients settle disputes with insurers over many kinds of losses. When a disability insurer has refused long-term benefits under a policy, the practice goes through the policy and the client's circumstances to judge whether a formal action for declaratory relief makes sense.
Civil sexual assault and intimate partner violence claims
Bennett acts for survivors of sexual assault, abuse and intimate partner violence who seek compensation through the civil courts. A civil claim runs apart from any criminal case and needs no police report, charge or conviction, and Ontario has lifted the limitation period for many of these claims. Bennett's commitment is to handle every survivor's case with discretion, compassion and respect.
