Family mediation and arbitration

Matthew T. Kelly works as a neutral mediator, helping separating parties settle family disputes away from court in a setting that isn't adversarial. Kelly also acts as counsel for people taking a family dispute to arbitration.

Family Health Teams

The firm, and Woynarski Law Office before it, has acted for Family Health Teams since those teams began. The work spans setting them up (incorporation and by-laws), governance advice, and contracts with the Ministry and with providers, along with leasing and employment questions.

Corporate and contract work

WSK Law sets up professional corporations for regulated professionals such as physicians, dentists, nurses and chiropractors, and it handles Personal Property Security Act registrations connected with securing loans and private financing. Adam Szymura drafts contracts for business owners and professionals, and Adam Szymura's past clients have included software developers, home stagers, temporary staffing agencies and general contractors.

Buying or selling a business

On business sales, the firm drafts and reviews asset and share purchase agreements. It also looks at whether the seller's lease can be assigned and whether the landlord has to consent.

Terminations, from either side

WSK Law acts on both sides of a dismissal. It checks that an employer's termination and severance packages meet the employer's legal duties, and it helps employees who've been let go get a proper package.
