Robert Konduros earned a law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in 1986 and has spent almost 40 years as a litigator. Konduros has argued matters at each tier of Ontario's courts: the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Konduros is a former chairperson of the Canada Pension Plan Disability Benefits Tribunal and holds level II collaborative law training.
Tim Hilborn was born and raised in Cambridge (formerly the Town of Preston) and has practised in the city since being called to the bar in 1979. Hilborn's degrees are a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario and an LL.B. from the University of Windsor.

In 1973 Hespeler was amalgamated with Preston, Galt and the hamlet of Blair to create the City of Cambridge. The settlement's industrial story starts with Jacob Hespeler, who arrived in 1845 and bought 145 acres; the industrial complex built there started a local economy that came to rest mainly on woollen and textile mills.
Today the village sits along the Speed River minutes north of Highway 401. TV shows and movies have been shot using the buildings on and around Queen Street and the rest of downtown, and the 1928 post office now houses the Fashion History Museum. Through the summer, Queen Street becomes a pedestrian zone where shops and vendors set up on the sidewalks.
