About Viridius Lex LLP

Viridius Lex LLP is a small law firm founded in 2018, based in Kingston, Ontario, with a second office in Toronto. It's a two lawyer partnership that handles residential and commercial real estate, corporate and business law, and environmental law, and it also helps not for profit and charitable organizations incorporate and register under Ontario's Not-for-Profit Corporations Act. The firm describes its approach as small scale and client centred, aiming to keep legal services scoped to what each client actually needs.

Both founding partners came to real estate and business law after years in public interest law. Rizwan Khan holds a law degree from Queen's University, a science degree from Toronto Metropolitan University, and a master's degree from Dalhousie University, and served as counsel with the Canadian Environmental Law Association before co-founding the firm, advising on matters that included federal environmental assessment reform and drinking water protection for First Nations communities. Burgandy Dunn is also a Queen's Law graduate, class of 2007, and received a Law Foundation of Ontario internship with the United Nations Regional Information Centre for Western Europe in Brussels while still a student. The firm offers virtual meetings and e-signing so real estate clients can close from anywhere in Ontario.
