Urosevic Law PC is a Toronto immigration and citizenship law firm at 100 King St. W. in downtown Toronto. The practice doesn't take on other kinds of law: it handles temporary and permanent residence applications, work permits, study permits, family sponsorship, and citizenship applications, and it represents clients in appeals before the Immigration and Refugee Board and in litigation before the Federal Court of Canada. The firm also helps Canadian employers get authorization to hire foreign workers.
Founder Jelena Urosevic earned a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2007 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2008. During law school, Urosevic worked at the Public Prosecution Service of Canada and the Department of Justice Canada, then returned to the Department of Justice's Immigration Law Division as counsel in 2010, representing the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship and the Minister of Public Safety in Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal cases for more than six years. In 2016, Urosevic left government practice to co-found Rashid Urosevic LLP; that firm dissolved at the end of 2023, and Urosevic has practiced as a sole practitioner at Urosevic Law PC since 2024. Urosevic develops a course on temporary entry for Queen's University's Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law program, and works with clients in English, Serbian, Croatian, and Bosnian.
Wheelchair accessibleThe firm's office sits in First Canadian Place at 100 King St. W., with its entrance on the north side of King Street West just west of Bay Street. It's reachable by the St. Andrew subway station, and underground parking is accessible from Adelaide Street or York Street beneath the Exchange Tower. That downtown office tower setting fits a practice that regularly works with employers based nearby who need authorization to bring skilled foreign workers into Canada, along with individual clients who can reach the office easily by transit.
