Rye Law is a Toronto-based firm founded by Amanpreet (Rick) Rye, who was called to the bar in 2011 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario. The founder earned a law degree at the University of Leicester and was recognized with a Linklaters business law award before graduating. Early roles included articling and practising at the Law Office of Adela Crossley, followed by several years as in-house counsel for a large agricultural corporation. The firm runs a head office on Finch Avenue West in Toronto and keeps additional offices in Mississauga, on Danforth Avenue in Toronto, and at 73 Water Street North in Cambridge.

Immigration and family law are the main focus. On the immigration side that means refugee claims and appeals, family sponsorship, and permanent residence through economic or skilled migration pathways. Family work covers divorce, parenting and support agreements, property division, and child protection files. The firm also handles civil and commercial litigation, real estate, and business and corporate matters such as incorporations, shareholder agreements, and business purchases and sales. A lawyer at the firm is a member of Legal Aid Ontario's refugee, child protection, and domestic violence panels, and the practice sums up its work under the line "Empowering People, Changing Lives."
