About Prenup Club

Prenup Club is a solo Toronto family law practice that focuses on one thing: prenuptial agreements. It's run by lawyer Jessica Wu, who has practiced law for more than 10 years and previously taught as a law school instructor. Wu holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Toronto, a Juris Doctor from Queen's University, a Global Professional Master of Laws from the University of Toronto, and a Certificate in European Business Law from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Germany. Before starting Prenup Club, Wu worked as a barrister with the Department of Justice Canada, the Women's Legal Education and Action Fund, and the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, appearing in the Superior Court of Justice, its Unified Family Court branch, and the Ontario Court of Justice, and presenting before the Ontario Court of Appeal. Wu also served as in house counsel for a healthcare corporation.

Prenup Club narrows that background to a single service: drafting prenuptial agreements, from an initial conversation through drafting and revisions to a signed agreement. The firm doesn't run a walk in office; clients book a complimentary consultation online. Wu has also taught foundational Canadian law, family law, and business and contract law, including at the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University and at Lakehead University's Faculty of Law, along with several Ontario colleges.
