Nsandhu Law is a solo criminal defence practice in Toronto, led by lawyer Nimrata Sandhu, who has more than 25 years of experience in the field. The firm handles violent offences, impaired driving, drug offences, sexual offences, firearms and weapons charges, and financial crimes such as fraud and theft. It's based out of a single office on John Street in downtown Toronto, but Sandhu is licensed to practice across Ontario, so the firm takes on cases from Brampton and other cities in the Greater Toronto Area, as well as farther afield in places like Hamilton and Ottawa. For clients outside Toronto, most consultations happen by phone or video rather than in person.

The firm bills with flat, block-fee rates instead of charging by the hour, offers a free initial consultation, and can connect clients who qualify with Legal Aid Ontario. It also runs free public workshops on legal rights and criminal law. Sandhu's approach to drug and other criminal charges centers on scrutinizing how police conducted a search or arrest and testing the Crown's evidence, work that takes the firm into courthouses across Toronto, including Old City Hall and the North York and Scarborough courts.
