About Tsinman Law

Tsinman Law is a family law firm that Inna Tsinman started in early 2016, after being called to the Ontario bar in 2012. The firm is based in North York, with a second office in downtown Ottawa. Tsinman articled at a family law firm, stayed on as an associate there, and then worked at Niman Gelgoot and Associates before opening the practice.

Tsinman studied at Osgoode Hall Law School and holds a B.A., M.A., and J.D., along with the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) designation. The firm concentrates on the financial side of separation and divorce, including support, property division, and cases involving hidden assets, alongside parenting arrangements, relocation, and Hague Convention matters. It also has a practice focus on pension and benefits issues for government employees and teachers.

The firm describes its mission as helping people "legally and financially transform and empower" themselves through separation. Tsinman grew up in Russia and Israel, and the firm's lawyers teach and mentor candidates preparing for the NCA and Ontario barrister examinations.

Tsinman Law's main office sits on Yonge Street in North York Centre, the high density business district that anchors the Willowdale area of Toronto's former North York core. The stretch around Sheppard and Yonge holds a mix of office towers and civic buildings, including the North York Centre subway station on Line 1.

The Ottawa office is a satellite location at 1 Rideau Street, inside the Fairmont Chateau Laurier.
