The Law Office of Brian Snell is a sole criminal appeals practice based in Toronto, working out of First Canadian Place at 100 King Street West. Snell focuses the practice exclusively on criminal appeals rather than trial work and has argued more than 100 cases at the Ontario Court of Appeal, along with matters at the Supreme Court of Canada. The firm takes clients from across Ontario, not only from Toronto, in conviction appeals, sentence appeals, and Crown appeals, and it also handles applications for bail pending appeal and requests to admit fresh evidence.

Snell is a graduate of Queen's Law and began practicing in Kingston, Ontario before relocating to Toronto. Before turning to law, Snell taught English at George Brown College and Fleming College and performed in opera and music theatre. Snell is a member of the Pro Bono Inmate Appeal Program, which provides appellate representation to inmates who would otherwise have to argue their own appeals, and has appeared at the Supreme Court of Canada on behalf of the Association in Defence of the Wrongly Convicted.
