Virtual appointmentsJunction Law Professional Corporation is a Toronto real estate law firm that opened in 2022 and now has two lawyers and two law clerks working exclusively on real estate matters across Ontario. Founder Laurence Dutil-Ricard holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universite Laval, completed an exchange at Dalhousie University's Faculty of Law, added a Master of Arts in World History and Cultures from King's College London, and finished a Master of Laws in Canadian Common Law at Osgoode Hall Law School. The practice grew out of a family history in real estate and now covers residential purchases, sales, and refinances alongside commercial acquisitions, financing, and development work for investors, developers, and business owners.
The firm serves clients in English and French and works largely by virtual appointment, from an office at 1655 Dupont Street in Toronto. Lawyer Darlene Richards-Loghrin, who joined in 2024, brought more than two decades of real estate practice built up in the Beach and Leslieville neighbourhoods after starting out in commercial litigation and being called to the Ontario bar in 1988. Law clerks Susan Peter-Rizza, who transitioned into real estate law in 2016 after two decades in graphic design, and Monika Ciesla, who has more than six years of real estate law experience within a legal career of over fifteen years, round out the team.

In-person servicesJunction Law's office sits on Dupont Street, which runs close to the northern edge of the Junction Triangle, a Toronto west end neighbourhood boxed in by rail lines on three sides. The area was industrial for most of the twentieth century, built up by generations of Italian, Polish, Macedonian, and Portuguese workers, and it has spent the last couple of decades converting old factory buildings into lofts and offices. Bloor GO Station and the West Toronto Railpath, a cycling and walking trail laid along a former rail corridor, are both nearby. For a firm built around property transactions, working from a block that's still turning old industrial buildings into homes and offices is a fitting backdrop.
