JPAK Employment Lawyers is a small Toronto firm that doesn't take on work outside labour and employment law, representing both employees and employers. It's based on Yonge Street in Toronto's financial district. Founder and director Jonquille Pak was called to the Ontario Bar in 2007 after earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Arts in economics from the University of British Columbia. Before starting the firm, Pak worked at two of Canada's larger labour and employment law firms and spent much of that early career representing employers, a background now carried into advising employee clients.

The firm's cases have reached the Ontario Superior Court, the Federal Court, the Federal Court of Appeal, various labour arbitration boards, the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal. Associate lawyer Jasmine El Hamidi, called to the Ontario Bar in 2024, joined after articling and summering at a litigation firm in downtown Toronto. Between them the two lawyers handle wrongful dismissal, severance negotiations, workplace investigations and human rights complaints for clients in sectors that include education, banking, financial services, health, manufacturing and information technology. Fee arrangements include hourly billing, block fees, deferrals and contingency retainers.
