Jeffrey Goldman Law is a sole immigration and refugee law practice based in downtown Toronto, at 1 Dundas Street West. Led by Jeffrey L. Before opening the practice, Goldman completed a commerce degree at the University of Toronto in the 1980s, then a law degree from the University of Windsor in 1990 and a master of laws from Osgoode Hall in 2001. The path into immigration law ran through the federal government, working first as a tax specialist and then as a court officer with the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada, work that led directly into representing people seeking asylum and status in Canada.

The firm says it offers transparent pricing, with flat rate fees quoted for many applications after an initial consultation. Depending on the case, it has also said it's sometimes able to take on clients at reduced rates, or on a pro bono basis.
