About J. Lee Family Law

JLEE Family Law is a solo family law practice with an office in downtown Toronto, founded by lawyer and mediator Justin J. Lee. Lee holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto and a B.Comm from Saint Mary's University, and was a Junior Fellow at Massey College. Early work at Downtown Legal Services covered separation, parenting disputes, and financial matters, and training followed at a family law firm in downtown Toronto before Lee opened an independent practice focused entirely on family law.

The firm handles the full span of family law work: parenting and custody disputes, child and spousal support, division of property, and domestic contracts such as marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, and separation agreements, along with contested and uncontested divorce. Cases can move through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, or litigation, and clients who don't need full representation can hire the firm for unbundled services such as coaching or document review alone. Lee belongs to the Law Society of Ontario, the Advocates Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, and the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association, and practises in English and Korean. The firm doesn't accept legal aid and limits new client intake to keep caseloads manageable.
