About Health Law Firm
Health Law Firm is a small law practice in Toronto that focuses on regulatory, administrative and business law for regulated health professionals. Founder Jonah Arnold represents physicians, dentists, nurses, pharmacists, chiropractors and other regulated professionals before Ontario's regulatory colleges, tribunals and courts, handling College complaints, investigations, disciplinary hearings, fitness to practice matters and appeals to bodies such as HPARB and HSARB. The firm also advises on employment contracts, clinic purchases and sales, partnership disputes, professional incorporations and privacy compliance under PHIPA and PIPEDA, and it extends some of this regulatory work to non-health professionals such as engineers and accountants.
Before turning to law, Arnold spent close to two decades establishing and running health clinics in Ontario as both an entrepreneur and lawyer. Arnold holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario, and a Master of Laws in Health Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. Outside the regulatory practice, Arnold has also acted as legal representative for the families of Ukraine International Airlines Flight PS752 victims in their lawsuit against Iran, part of close to a decade of human rights litigation work.
