Safarzadeh-Markhali, and is a former Vice President of the Criminal Lawyers' Association of Ontario. Jeff Marshman, called to the bar in 2015, clerked at the Superior Court of Justice in Toronto and has lectured at the University of Toronto on criminal law and the criminal justice system. Both lawyers also take on appointments as amicus curiae to assist self-represented and vulnerable accused.
