About Goldhart Law

Goldhart Law Professional Corporation is a Toronto firm that practices exclusively in family law, handling marriage and cohabitation agreements, divorce, parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, property division, enforcement and alternative dispute resolution. The firm carries on the family law practice of its founder, Cheryl Goldhart, who reorganized it under the current corporate name in 2024. Goldhart was called to the bar in Ontario in 1987 and has practiced exclusively in family law since then, and is a Law Society of Ontario Certified Specialist in Family Law, a Certified Mediator with the Ontario Association for Family Mediation and a Certified Family Law Arbitrator with the ADR Institute of Ontario. Goldhart has been a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers since 2017.

The firm also runs Goldhart Mediation and Arbitration, a related mediation and arbitration service for family law disputes. Goldhart has appeared at every level of the Ontario court system, including the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and the firm describes a Supreme Court of Canada case argued on a child support matter. A senior lawyer on the team has practiced family law since being called to the bar in 2012, with degrees from Bishop's University, Simon Fraser University and Dalhousie University. The office is at 1920 Yonge Street in Toronto.
