Carson Chousky Lein LLP is a small family law firm in downtown Toronto that practices exclusively in family law, from separation and divorce to custody and parenting arrangements, support, property division, and marriage and cohabitation contracts. The firm's name reflects its three partners: Georgina Carson, called to the Ontario bar in 1991, Samantha Chousky, called in 1998, and Serena Lein, called in 2011. Between them the partners bring decades of family law practice, and the firm rounds out to about ten people once its associates and law clerks are counted.

The partners favour a cooperative, solutions-based approach, working through negotiation, mediation, and arbitration before litigation, though the firm also appears at all levels of Ontario court when a matter needs to go that far. All three partners serve as Dispute Resolution Officers, and Georgina Carson is a member of the Minerva Group of family law mediators and arbitrators while Samantha Chousky is a certified Parenting Coordinator. Georgina Carson has also chaired the Family Law Executive of the Ontario Bar Association and edited the Law Society's Separation Agreement Annotated. Denise McCaig, the firm's senior law clerk, has worked alongside Georgina Carson for 25 years, which speaks to the continuity behind the firm's files.
