Each party first has a private intake meeting with the mediator, with or without a lawyer, to check whether the case suits mediation and to set out issues, goals and concerns. A half day package (two 30 minute intakes, two hours of mediation and a memorandum of understanding) costs $1000.00 plus HST, and a full day package with four hours of mediation costs $2000.00 plus HST.
