Evans de Vries Higgins LLP, known as EDH Law, is a multi-service law firm with offices in Bradford and Peterborough, Ontario. Its Bradford roots go back to 1894, when Thomas W.W. Evans opened Evans and Evans and, about a decade later, built the downtown building the firm still occupies. Three generations of the Evans family, sons Charles and Brock Evans and grandsons Thomas E. Evans and Robert Evans, carried the Bradford practice forward. In April 2015, Robert Evans joined Jenivieve de Vries and Nathan Higgins to consolidate their practices into Evans de Vries Higgins LLP. Robert Evans retired in 2019, and de Vries and Higgins have continued as the firm's partners since.

The Peterborough office has its own history. Douglas Walker opened that practice in 1974 and worked from it for nearly 50 years, emphasizing real estate and estate planning, before retiring at the end of 2023. Nathan Higgins had already relocated to Peterborough in 2022 to practice alongside Walker, making EDH Law the successor firm there too. Walker passed away in December 2025. Today EDH Law handles real estate, wills and estates, corporate, and notarizing and commissioning work from both offices, with family law offered in Bradford and immigration and refugee law in Peterborough.
