Gionet Fairley Wood LLP, known as GFW, is a litigation firm in Barrie, Ontario, that opened in 2024. Partners Eric Gionet and Scott Fairley had already practised together in Simcoe County for more than 20 years before starting the firm, and Andrew Wood joined them in 2018. GFW marked its opening with a ribbon cutting at its Bayfield Street office on July 17, 2024, hosted by the Greater Barrie Chamber of Commerce and attended by Ontario's Attorney General, Doug Downey, and Barrie's mayor, Alex Nuttall. The firm's team has since grown to three partners and five associates.

GFW concentrates on commercial litigation, covering construction law, creditor's rights, real estate litigation, employment law, estate litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, and commercial leasing. Its lawyers have appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal, plus various tribunals and arbitration hearings. One distinct focus is waterfront property litigation: the firm represents clients in disputes over title, riparian rights, and public access along Simcoe County and Muskoka shorelines, and its lawyers have written on waterfront title issues and presented to the Ontario Land Surveyors. The partners have also led construction lien seminars for groups including the Barrie Construction Association and the Simcoe County Home Builders' Association for more than 15 years.
