Faulkner & Van Barneveld Professional Corporation is a small family law and real estate firm based in downtown Barrie, serving clients across Simcoe County. Meagan M. Faulkner and Christina Van Barneveld founded the firm together. Faulkner earned a law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan and was called to the New York and New Jersey state bars before being called to the Ontario bar, then worked as an associate lawyer in family law before co-founding the firm. Van Barneveld came from a background in accounting, tax preparation, and small business management, then trained as a paralegal, earning a P1 license through the Law Society and working as an associate paralegal and litigation clerk in family and criminal law before the two partners joined forces.
