About Quintal Lavigueur Professional Corporation

Quintal Lavigueur Professional Corporation is a general practice law firm serving Ontario's Ottawa Valley from offices in Pembroke and Eganville. The firm traces its roots to Quintal & Christinck, the practice Jean-Pierre Quintal and Sylvia Christinck built over several decades in criminal, family, real estate, wills, estates, corporate and civil litigation work. That practice later merged with the clientele of Rod Sauriol, who served Renfrew County clients in English and French as a solicitor and children's lawyer for 35 years. In 2017, the firm purchased Stewart Lavigueur's Eganville practice, and in 2023 the Pembroke and Eganville offices came together under the current name.

Today the firm's lawyers act as barristers, solicitors and notaries, handling commercial, construction, civil litigation, property, corporate, estate, family and real estate matters. Stewart Lavigueur, the firm's namesake, was the only Law Society of Upper Canada (now the Law Society of Ontario) medal winner in Renfrew County, and John Grant was designated King's Counsel in 1984. The current team includes lawyers called to the bar as early as 1971 and as recently as 2025, along with an articling student, and Jean-Pierre Quintal and Matthew Sauriol both serve clients in English and French.
