Stephen I. Beck is a sole-practitioner law firm in Mississauga that has practiced exclusively in family law since 1990. Beck earned a BA from McGill University and an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa before building a practice based in the Region of Peel, one that also takes on family law files across Halton and the wider Greater Toronto Area. The work covers the full range of family law matters, including custody and access, child and spousal support, division of property, and separation, marriage, and cohabitation agreements. The firm has also completed Collaborative Family Law Training Courses and offers collaborative law for clients who'd rather resolve matters without going to court.

Beck has served since 2006 as a panel lawyer with the Office of the Children's Lawyer, representing children's interests in family court matters, and sits as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Superior Court of Justice for the Region of Peel. The record also includes fifteen years as counsel to the Region of Peel and the Ministry of Community and Social Services, and six years as a director of the Peel Law Association.
