Rana U. Hameed Criminal Law Professional Corporation, operating as Rana U. Hameed Criminal Law, is a solo criminal defence practice at 100 Matheson Boulevard East in Mississauga, representing clients across Ontario. The practice covers offences against the person, sexual offences, impaired and dangerous driving, drug offences including trafficking and importation, property and weapons charges, and financial crimes such as fraud and money laundering. It also handles bail hearings before the Ontario Court of Justice, bail reviews in the Superior Court of Justice, and hearings for the more serious offences under section 469 of the Criminal Code that must start at the Superior Court level.

Umer Hameed holds a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours from the University of Birmingham in the UK and a Master of Laws in Canadian common law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University, after an earlier honours degree in nursing, also from York. Before opening the practice, Hameed articled in criminal defence at a downtown Toronto firm under senior counsel supervision, working on matters before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario, then worked as an associate at another Toronto criminal defence firm. The practice is a member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, accepts Legal Aid certificates, offers payment plans, and can take instructions in English, Urdu, Hindi, or Punjabi.
