Kain Family Law LLP is a small firm in Oakville, Ontario that practices exclusively in family law. The firm's current partnership dates to January 2024, when Heather Cassells and Laura Natalizio became its founding partners. The practice covers the full span of family law work, from cohabitation agreements, marriage contracts and step parent adoptions to separation, divorce, parenting, support and property division, and it also prepares foreign divorce opinion letters. Rather than starting every file in court, the firm works through negotiation, mediation and arbitration alongside litigation, and it offers a complimentary initial consultation to new clients.

Cassells has practiced family law exclusively for more than ten years, appearing before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice as well as handling mediation and arbitration, with a focus on high conflict parenting disputes and complex property and support issues. Cassells also serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Community Living Mississauga. Associate Gayatri Vishal Shirdhonkar is an internationally trained lawyer who holds a B.B.A. LL.B (Hons), an LL.M. and a graduate certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Shirdhonkar was called to the Ontario bar in August 2025 after completing NCA accreditation and articling at a family law firm in Mississauga.
