About John M. Gray

John M. Gray is a solo civil litigation and wills and estates practice based in Mississauga's City Centre district, on Village Centre Court near Square One and the Mississauga Civic Centre. John M. Gray graduated from the University of Windsor Law School in 1991, was called to the Ontario bar in 1993, and worked in the civil litigation department of a larger Mississauga law firm before opening the current practice in 1996. For almost 30 years the firm has served clients across Peel and Halton, appearing at all levels of the Ontario court system for institutions, corporations, and individuals.

The litigation side covers construction liens and breach of trust claims, shareholder and partnership disputes, commercial lease matters, and employment and wrongful dismissal. Several of the firm's cases have produced reported decisions on CanLII and in the Ontario Judgments series, including a 2014 Superior Court ruling on a construction breach of trust claim and a 2016 commercial landlord and tenant decision. On the estates side, John M. Gray prepares wills and powers of attorney and handles probate applications, passing of accounts, and estate and power of attorney litigation, and is a Commissioner for Taking Oaths and a Notary Public. The firm does not take Small Claims Court cases or offer free consultations.
