About Falcon Law

Falcon Law is a small firm based in Mississauga, Ontario, with an office on Sherwoodtowne Boulevard. Shahbaz Mehmood founded and manages the firm, bringing more than ten years of multi-jurisdictional experience in corporate and commercial law, real estate law, wills and estates, and litigation. Mehmood holds an LLM in International Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, is licensed with the Law Society of Ontario, and is also a lifetime member of the Punjab Bar Council Lahore and the Sialkot Bar Association.

Day to day, the firm's work centers on two areas: corporate and commercial law, and real estate law. On the corporate side, Falcon Law advises on incorporations, partnership and shareholder agreements, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, and the purchase and sale of businesses, working with clients that range from small family owned operations to larger companies. Its real estate practice covers residential and commercial transactions, including purchases, sales, mortgages, and lease review for landlords and tenants, along with guidance for first time buyers on the Land Transfer Tax and Municipal Land Transfer Tax rebates.
