About Ayoun Law

Ayoun Law is a family and immigration law firm based in Mississauga, Ontario, working out of a ground floor suite in the Watline Corporate Centre off Hurontario Street. Co-founded by lawyers Ayoun Haroon and Sabeeya Akram, the firm also practices real estate law, estate planning, and civil litigation, and offers notary and independent legal advice services. The team communicates with clients in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi, and the firm offers a free initial consultation along with evening appointment hours.

Ayoun Haroon focuses on real estate, estate planning, and immigration matters, and comes from a family of lawyers, including a grandfather who practiced as a barrister at Lincoln's Inn in London, England. Before co-founding the firm, Haroon practiced in criminal, family, and civil litigation. Sabeeya Akram, one of the firm's owners, practices family and civil litigation. Akram's legal career began in medical malpractice work, including a period as chief editor of a McMaster University study called The Art in Medicine, Treatment Decision-Making, before the focus shifted to family law.

In the community

  • In May 2025, Ayoun Law launched a legal aid program for single parents facing financial hardship across the Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga, Brampton, and North York. The program offers three complimentary legal sessions covering family law, custody and access, housing disputes, and immigration matters, with an optional 0% interest payment plan and up to five years to repay if further legal work is needed.
  • Ayoun Haroon provides pro bono mediation for private family matters within the South Asian community.
  • Sabeeya Akram mentors young women interested in law school, a practice that began with volunteer mentoring earlier in life.

The neighbourhood

Ayoun Law's office is a ground floor suite in the Watline Corporate Centre, a multi tenant office building just off Hurontario Street in central Mississauga, minutes from Highways 401, 403, 410, and 407. That kind of reach fits a firm whose client base and legal aid program extend across the Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga, Brampton, and North York, rather than a single walk in neighbourhood.
