About Sarfo Law

Sarfo Law is a solo practice based in Brampton, Ontario, founded by lawyer Kwasi Sarfo. The firm handles family law, immigration and refugee law, and criminal defence, and it also provides notary public and commissioner of oaths services. Rather than run a traditional walk-in office, Sarfo Law works with clients across the wider Greater Toronto Area, including Mississauga, the Kitchener-Waterloo region, Durham Region, York Region, and London, Ontario, and it meets with them virtually, in person, or during evenings and weekends.

Sarfo graduated from the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law in 2021, completed the Law Practice Program at Toronto Metropolitan University, and articled at Heckburn Law, focusing on family law. Before law school, Sarfo earned an undergraduate degree in political science and sociology and a master's degree in environmental studies, both from York University, and worked as a community development worker and a case manager for organizations supporting underserved Toronto neighbourhoods, including Jane-Finch. That background carries into the practice today: Sarfo Law offers limited scope services and legal coaching in family law matters, letting a client handle routine parts of a case alone and pay for professional help only where it's needed most.
