About Kahlon Law Office

Kahlon Law Office is a Brampton based immigration law practice founded by Arshdeep Singh Kahlon, a Barrister and Solicitor licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. The founder holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from the University Institute of Legal Studies at Panjab University in Chandigarh, was called to the Bar in India at the age of 23, and worked as a trial court lawyer there from 2011 to 2016, handling family, criminal, civil, property, and corporate matters. After immigrating to Canada in 2016, the founder completed the National Committee on Accreditation requirements and the Bar Admission Program, articled with two Manitoba law firms, and was called to the Bar in Manitoba on June 20, 2019, before relocating to Ontario to open the firm in Brampton.

The practice is limited to Canadian immigration law. Its work includes inadmissibility matters, immigration appeals, misrepresentation cases, and litigation before the Federal Court, the Immigration Division, and the Immigration Appeal Division, along with family reunification, permanent residence applications, humanitarian and compassionate claims, refugee protection, and temporary residence matters. The firm also assists families with cross border issues such as international adoption. It offers paid consultations, in person or by Zoom, and provides some pro bono legal services. Services are available in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu.
