Ken Hoyt Law is a four-lawyer firm in downtown Ottawa, on Gilmour Street in the city's Centretown neighbourhood. Ken Hoyt earned a law degree from Queen's University in 1984 and moved to Ottawa to establish the practice, which has since served the Ottawa area's real estate community for more than 30 years. The firm's work centers on residential real estate, from purchases and sales to refinancing, alongside wills, powers of attorney, estate planning and administration, business and corporate law, and notarial and commissioning services, with both on site and virtual appointments available.

The rest of the team brings varied academic backgrounds together. Robert Hall, who began practicing law in 2014, holds degrees from the University of Waterloo, Western University, and the University of Ottawa's law school, and works in real estate, real estate development, business and corporate law, and wills and estates. Kodi Edmunds joined the firm in 2021 after graduating from the University of Ottawa's law school in 2018, and focuses on residential real estate, wills, powers of attorney, and estates. Kaitlyn Lark, called to the bar in British Columbia in 2017 and in Ontario in 2026, joined Ken Hoyt Law in 2026 and advises on real estate, wills and estates, and business law matters, following degrees from the University of Alberta, the University of Victoria, and Osgoode Hall Law School.
