Lafrenière Sanna Estate Law is a small firm in Ottawa's west end, with offices in Kanata and Almonte, Ontario. The practice traces back to Neff Lafrenière Estate Law and later operated as Persona Law Group before taking its current name. Founding lawyer Chantal M.J. Lafrenière was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004 after articling with a mid-size labour and employment firm in Ottawa and working for the Canadian Bar Association, then gaining Real Estate and Wills, Estates and Trusts experience at a northern Ontario firm. Partner Natalie A. Sanna was called to the bar in 2003 and began practicing wills, estates and trusts with Donna Neff. Involvement with the firm continued through the years after the birth of a first child in 2006, and full time practice resumed in September 2016.

Each lawyer at the firm sticks to a limited set of practice areas, wills and estate planning, powers of attorney, guardianship, estate administration, trusts (including Henson Trusts), and real estate, aiming for in-depth advice rather than a general practice. Billing is meant to be predictable: flat fees cover defined work such as wills, powers of attorney and probate applications, while hourly rates apply to estates that can't be scoped in advance. Lafrenière is a Certified Executor Advisor and completed a law degree in French; both lawyers are notaries public.
