Guertin Poirier Avocates/Lawyers is a real estate and estate planning firm on Beechwood Avenue in Ottawa. The practice traces back to 1987, when Louis Guertin established Guertin Law with the help of Julie, after working at a law firm run by Guertin's own father and uncle. Guertin's daughter Natalie joined the practice in 2009, and Michele Poirier joined in 2016. In 2021, Natalie Guertin and Michele Poirier took over the firm and rebranded it as Guertin Poirier Avocates/Lawyers, continuing what the firm describes as a third-generation client-care model.

The firm concentrates on residential real estate closings for buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders, along with wills, powers of attorney, probate, survivorship applications, and notary work. It publishes fixed fees for each service rather than quoting case by case, and offers a discount to first-time home buyers as well as a discount on a will or power of attorney completed within three months of a real estate closing with the firm. Guertin Poirier serves Ottawa's English- and French-speaking communities, and its lawyers practise in both languages.
