Brion Raffoul LLP is an Ottawa intellectual property firm founded on September 1, 2008 by partners Art Brion and Natalie Raffoul, who met as junior associates at Shapiro Cohen LLP before starting a firm of their own. Brion holds a computer engineering degree from McMaster University and a law degree from the University of New Brunswick. Raffoul holds an electrical engineering degree from Western University and a law degree from Queen's University, and is a registered patent agent and a Professional Engineer of Ontario. The firm runs as two connected entities, one for legal services and one for patent and trademark agency work, and its lawyers and agents cover fields from software and artificial intelligence to life sciences and chemistry.

The firm bills on a flat fee rather than by the hour, a structure it built in from the start so clients know their costs upfront. It's based in a building it bought in Ottawa's Westboro neighbourhood at 329 Churchill Ave. N, where the team relocated during the pandemic. By its 15th anniversary in 2023, Brion Raffoul had filed more than 4,000 patents and worked with 728 clients across nearly every continent, and it had been ranked in the IAM Patent 1000 for nine consecutive years.
