Rafiq Law Office is a solo practice in Welland, Ontario, run by lawyer Farooq Rafiq. Rafiq was called to the Sindh Bar Council in Pakistan in August 1991 and spent the years that followed in private practice in Karachi. After moving to Canada, Rafiq attended the University of Western Ontario and earned a Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation. Rafiq then completed the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education program in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and articled with a refugee, immigration and human rights lawyer in Winnipeg and a real estate, corporate and commercial lawyer in Mississauga before being called to the Bar of Ontario in January 2020.

The practice opened first in Milton, Ontario, and later moved to Welland, where it now handles family law and mediation, wills and estates, and notary and commissioner services. Rafiq is a certified family mediator and is working toward accreditation in family mediation, and the firm takes Legal Aid Ontario certificates for family law and domestic violence matters. It serves Welland and the wider Niagara region, including St. Catharines and Niagara Falls, with services available in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.
