Kolpak Romanow Law is run by Edyta Romanow, a barrister, solicitor, and notary called to the Ontario bar in 2019. Romanow holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Kent, and describes the firm's purpose as helping clients through major life transitions: buying or selling a home, planning a will, or working through the immigration process. The practice covers three areas: residential real estate transactions, wills and estate planning and administration, and immigration.

On the real estate side, the firm handles home purchases and sales, mortgage refinancing, and condo status certificate reviews. Its estates work covers wills, powers of attorney for personal care and for property, and estate administration matters such as applications for a Certificate of Appointment of Estate Trustee. On immigration, it assists with visitor visas, Electronic Travel Authorizations, work permits, permanent residency, and citizenship applications. Romanow also offers notarial and legal services in Polish, including document signing and certification and preparing documents for apostille or authentication for use abroad. The firm meets clients by appointment in the Greater Toronto Area or the Niagara Region.
