Michael A. Hardy Professional Corporation is a small general practice firm with offices in Sundridge and Huntsville, Ontario, serving the Parry Sound and Muskoka districts. The firm traces to 1986, when Michael Hardy joined Doug Smith's Sundridge practice to form Smith and Hardy. Robert Niemi joined in September 2012 and became a partner in January 2014. The firm works mainly in residential and commercial real estate, wills, trusts, and estate planning, and business law, and later added the Huntsville office on Highway 60 to reach clients further into Muskoka.

Michael Hardy studied at McGill University before earning a law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School and being called to the Ontario bar in 1973. The early years in practice included a Toronto partnership at Grant, Grant and Hardy from 1973 to 1979, followed by five years at the Law Society of Upper Canada before a move to Northern Ontario in 1985. Outside law, Hardy studied Taoist Tai Chi under Master Moy Lin-Shin from 1973 to 1998 and has taught the practice since 1974. Robert Niemi trained at Liberty University School of Law, graduating in 2011 after a business finance degree, and is licensed to practice in both Ontario and Virginia.
